  1. To start,

Billy Joel does play the harmonic in Piano Man. I have seen him live 3 times.

    Fantastic conversation.

I agree that over the last 10 years the analytical skill sets. It has gone from knowing the tools to Adobe, GA, and having some knowledge of SQL or other big data tools on the fringes,

Analysis Workspace is an excellent tool that will answer questions because it is efficient regarding creating the story. Granted I have not used in about 12 months. (All my clients right now are GA. Sorry, Ben.)

Here the way I look at it. I am data guy that got started before the internet, and that data set has grown exponentially. The tools and technology have changed the equation. What I see now having more of that SQL, R, Python skills sets and less of the tool skills.

The goal for myself now is to get more relevant. (Granted analyzing websites keeps my skills sharp.) I am in the process of taking an in-depth Python course with the goal of being able to create tools to do reporting analysis at scale for clients.
